Our clients use Chexology to create custom texts for various events, add hyperlinks to event calendars and special promotions, and invite guests to join them via their social media handles. Chexology is a staff-based iOS system where the guest is their own claim ticket. Three elements work together to replace paper tickets:

1. iOS app (iPad or iPhone)

Your staff runs Chexology on an iPad (or iPhone) as the “home base” to check items in/out and see everything moving through the coatroom in real time.

2. Reusable NFC tags (tap-and-go)

You attach reusable NFC hanger tags (or stickers) to hangers or bulky items. Each tag links back to the app so staff can track items quickly and accurately—even at high volume.

3. Custom text messaging (SMS claim ticket)

When a guest checks items in/out, they receive a personalized text message that acts as their claim number—no app download required. You can also send an end-of-night reminder if someone forgets an item.

No way! A guest should never need to download an app to have a good time. Your guests will receive a personalized text message with their claim number during check-in and checkout.

You can also set up a text message alert that goes out when a guest leaves something behind. The text can include a phone number to call or business hours to return and retrieve their items.
