Chexology is excited to welcome Neil Upadhyay as our new Senior Account Executive.
In this role, Neil will lead partnerships and oversee major hotel accounts, supporting Chexology’s paperless solutions to sustainably-conscious properties seeking data-driven insights into creating an elevated guest experience.
Chexology eliminates the paper luggage ticket and brings hotel operations into the palm of your hand. By connecting tasks to a team’s mobile devices, hotels can now efficiently pass tasks between teams, accelerate deliveries, and gain insights into why services exceed or fall short of their standard. The result: faster service, stronger accountability, and a modern guest experience.
Neil brings more than a decade of operational expertise to Chexology. He served on the Hotel Performance Team at Hawkeye Hotels, where he led successful openings and transitions, including, most recently, the launch of a dual-branded Home2 Suites and Hampton Inn in Aurora, CO. Known for his sharp eye for quality assurance, Neil played a key role in turning around underperforming hotels.
Earlier in his journey, Neil served as Director of Operations at First Hospitality, where he oversaw the $60M renovation and reopening of the historic Hotel Fort Des Moines. During that time, he oversaw the property’s Chexology rollout, giving him valuable insight into supporting Chexology’s growing list of happy hotel and resort clients.
“I’ve personally seen how transformative Chexology’s technology can be for both guests and operators,” said Upadhyay. “Having rolled out Chexology at Hotel Fort Des Moines, I know the immense value it brings from an operator’s standpoint, streamlining processes, improving guest experiences, and eliminating waste. I’m excited to now be on the other side, helping hotels across the country realize that same potential.”
Neil’s passion for hospitality runs even deeper. Growing up in Iowa, he worked alongside his family to manage their portfolio of hotels, giving him an operational foundation that continues to guide his leadership today.
“I’ve had the great pleasure of working with Neil as a client for years,” said Derek Pacqué, CEO and Founder of Chexology. “Neil was one of our earliest hotel adopters and instantly understood the potential in our platform. Having been on both sides of the hospitality industry, we’re thrilled to welcome him into our company. More to come!”
With Neil’s deep industry experience and firsthand knowledge of Chexology’s impact, his addition marks an exciting step forward as the company continues to partner with leading hotels and resorts to redefine what modern hospitality looks like.
